The method

  1. Toast pecans 8 minutes.
  2. Whisk eggs, sugar, syrup, bourbon, butter and vanilla.
  3. Pile pecans in crust, pour filling over.
  4. Bake at 350 F for 50 minutes; finish with flaky salt.
